The Board of Directors of the Superintendency of Banks and Other Financial Institutions approved the Regulation for the processing of Administrative Appeals, which was published in the Edition No. 180 of the Official Gazette on September 27, 2022.

The purpose of the regulation is to establish the procedures for the processing of Appeals against resolutions issued by the Superintendent.

The appeal will not be admissible in the following cases:

• When the appeal has been submitted outside of the established term.
• When the appeal has not been physically received by the Superintendency's Correspondence Reception Office.
• When the appeal filed by appellants other than clients or users of financial services does not follow the requirements established in paragraphs c), d) and e) of article 6 of the Regulation.
• When the amendment, if applicable, does not follow the requirements of article 6 of the Regulation.
• When the appellant has not previously submitted the revision appeal.
